Habitats
Every piggy needs a safe place to call home!
At SCCR, we use the C & C constructed habitats because the supplies are readily available, they are easy to construct, easy to clean and easy to customize! We now offer ready to set up 2x4 OR 2x5 habitat kits. They come complete with enough grid panels (or cubes) to complete the walls of the habitat, a cut and scored coroplast plastic base, zip ties to construct your walls as well as detailed instructions.

Fleece Guinea Pig Accessories
Every piggy needs a soft place to lay their head to sleep.
We like to use fleece liners and accessories at SCCR. Our very own Adoption Coordinator Robyn is also a very talented creator and owner at Wheek Dreams Designs. She designs custom sets of fleece liners and accessories to coordinate with your or your piggie's personality! We recommend at least 2 liners for each habitat - one to use and one to swap out on cleaning day! Piggies also love little hidey places, fleece forests and snuggle sacks which Robyn can help you out with! We also have her snuggle sacks available for purchase at Meet & Greet Sundays at PetSmart.

Guinea Pig Basics
Every piggy needs some hay, pellets, water and greens.
There's a couple of great places you can get the basics and additional accessories for your guinea pigs! PetSmart is a place to start and we're happy to show you what we recommend if you visit us there on a Sunday! Amazon (of course!) has a never ending array of supplies. HEB can be a great place for veggies and even seasonal ceramic dishes for serving greens or pellets. Here's our list of must haves for your piggies.
